The Feagins
I have put the "S" at the end of the FEAGIN surname as a concession to a cousin who insists that it should be there! Whether we have the "S" or not, we are of the same SEPT. In terms of Scottish and Irish Clans, a Sept is a sub-family of the main family which I am calling O'Faodohagin unless someone can prove it otherwise. Here are members of our family Sept:

My mother's side has been verified back 56 generations to Cerdic, King of the West Saxons d. 534. I would like to find my tie - in with the Feagin line, and our common ancestry in Europe.

General: I was raised in the military. During this time I lived in Panama (53-55) Arizona, New Mexico, Germany (59-62), Virginia (62-64), Ethiopia (65-67), Ft. Polk, La. (69). My father retired from the army and then moved to Houston. As a young person I was involved with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts until the family moved from Ethiopia to Ft. Polk (9th grade). In school I excelled in academics, and was president of the Naltional Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta (Math Club). In high school I enjoyed playing tennis and going on bike rides. Graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School, Houston in 1971. Entered
USMA, West Point in June-Nov 1971. Decided to enter ministry and then went to Houston Baptist University.
