Queries

There are several query boards on the web.  Links are provided to them on this page.  A query should contain pertinent  data available to include:

• Full name of person if known.

• Dates if known.

• Places if known.

• Other facts such as siblings, husband, wife or other identifying information.

Abbreviations such as d for death, b for birth, m for marriage, should be used to keep the message short.  The subject line should contain the individuals name, date and location.  An example would be: Daniel Fegan - 1680, VA
