This is a chronicle of our trip to Iberia in October of 2002. Iberia is a term I use to represent the
Iberian Peninsula of Europe that contains the countries of Spain and Portugal. It is a lot easier to
just say Iberia instead of repeating Spain and Portugal all the time. The map below shows where
it is located. Its northern boundary is with France, marked by the Pyrenees mountains. In the
south it is separated from Morocco and the African continent by the Strait of Gibralter.
We visited four cities - Madrid, Seville, Tavira and Lisbon. They are circled in red on the map.
As far as finding out what I mean by "Suviving Jamon", you'll have to read the narrative to
