IRENE STEELE RAWLINSON
Written by herself in 1963 for the book, “Memoirs of Mahonri Moriancumer Steele”.
I was born February 26, 1910 at Junction, Utah, the tent child of M. M. Steele, Jr. and Charlotte Moore LeFevre Steele. My early childhood from 3 years of age until 12 were spent in Sutherland, Utah, living with my sister Fern and family. After this time I lived in Delta, Utah with my mother and family. Here I met my husband, Claude Fisk Rawlinson. We were married 31 May 1929 and moved to California. In 1936 we returned to Delta living there until 1951, at which time we moved to Orem, Utah where I am now residing. Since the July following my husband’s death, I have been employed at the Utah State Training School in American Fork. I have had six children, five of whom are living. All are married and have children of their own. My grandchildren number twenty, ten boys and ten girls. The most cherished event of our married lives took place just two short years before Claude passed away. At this time we took out our endowments and were sealed for timed and all eternity in the Manti Temple n March 22, 1960. What a comfort this has been since he passed away.

Irene also married Tillman Elroy TWITCHELL-[91] [MRIN:46] on 23 Jul 1977 in <Junction, Piute, Utah, USA>.1 (Tillman Elroy TWITCHELL-[91] was born on 18 Jul 1897 in <Junction, Piute, Utah, USA> and died in Sep 1982.)
