Isom Martin Dawson, son of Martin and Mary (Baker) Dawson
Isom and Alfretta "Allie" (Cannady) Dawson were parents of our Dawson family group. Isom was born in Blackjack Grove (now Cumby), Hopkins County, Texas on 27 Feb 1863. He married Allie on 5 Oct 1884 in Sarcoxie, Jasper County, Missouri. They had ten children, all of whom grew to adulthood.
