Frank Charles Cannady, son of Charles and Rose Ella
Charles Wesley Cannady and Rose Ella Ragan (sometimes spelled Ragin) were married on 22 Nov 1860 in St. Clair County, Illinois. They had eight children, of whom Frank was the fifth. He married Miriam McMullen, and they had two daughters, Gladys and Vivian. Gladys married Oliver Steele, and their son Charles Lee "Chuck" Steele married Betty Hollis. One of Frank's siblings, Alfretta Mariah "Allie" Cannady, married Isom Martin Dawson, from whom our Dawson families came. Chuck and Betty have kept in touch with the Dawsons.
