The home of Charles Henry and Henrietta Ladd in Ripley, Oklahoma. On the reverse side of this unmailed postcard is this inscription: "Grandpa Ladd's home in Ripley, Okla. Nellie Davidson's father. House later moved to Payne Co. near Flynn Cemetery." The name Etta Davidson, one of Nellie's daughters, is in the address section of the postcard. We do not know the identities of the women standing on the porch, but one possibility is that the older woman on the left is Henrietta and the younger woman is Ruth. The sign on the door at the left rear calls for an ice delivery of 25 pounds. The house number, not clearly legible, may be 725. (Photo courtesy of Roger Davidson in Sept 2006.
