Certificate of homestead land for Charlie Williams, who married Ina Ladd, daughter of Charles Henry and Ettie (Richmond) Ladd. The land was the NW 1/4, Sec 11, Twp 17N, Range 4E of the Indian Meridian, containing 160 acres. The certificate was issued in Guthrie, Oklahoma on 22 April 1901. It was part of a Congressional action "To secure Homesteads to Actual Settlers on the Public Domain." It was issued on the authority of President William McKinley.
