Bertha was a daughter of Gust and Susan Anderson. Born in 1884 in Central City (or perhaps Marquette), Hamilton County, Nebraska, she married George E. Kirk on 4 Feb 1905 in Perkins, Payne County, Oklahoma. They had four children: Macie, Leola, Sylvester, and Hazel. She is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Perkins, Payne County, Oklahoma. This photo was excerpted from a picture of a ladies club in Perkins in 1929. That photo was made by the van Griethuysen Studio of Perkins, Oklahoma.
