Oscar James Anderson was born 2 Sept 1890 in Nebraska. (It is unclear whether he was born in Kearny, Buffalo County, or Central City in Hamilton County.) He married Nellie Blanche Yates on 28 Feb 1916 in Lincoln County, Oklahoma. They had one child, Norval. After her death Oscar married Elsie Blanche Whipkey on 22 Feb 1922 in Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma. They had four children. Oscar died 23 Nov 1973 in Cushing, Payne County, Oklahoma.
