Mamie and Will Hood, with some of Will's daughters and their families
Mamie Ladd and her children managed the family farm southeast of Cushing from Elno Boyd's death in 1918 until 1928, when she and William "Will" Hood were married. At that time Ruby and Nila Ladd lived at home (and perhaps Floyd, at age 17). Will's daughters Opal, Dorothy, and Vera (and perhaps Lola) were still at home, making up the blended family.
