Roy was a son of Elno Boyd and Mary (Anderson) Ladd. Roy and Daisy Krolop were married 27 July 1927. They died within three days of each other as the result of an automobile accident. They had no children. (Photo taken on 11 June 2005 in the New Zion Cemetery, Cushing, Payne County, Oklahoma.)
