The barn still stands from about 1926 to Memorial Day, 29 May 2006. It is collapsing, with the roof broken through and timbers at odd angles inside. Remnants of the feeding trough and box remain, but in disrepair. The barn stands to the southwest about 75-100 yards from where the house stood. The woodpile and part of the large drive/yard area was between the house and the woodpile. The southwest corner of the house was where the upright railroad tie stands today.
