13-Happy Valley playground, 1981

This is the Happy Valley School playground at the time of a school reunion. The swings and teeter totters are new, but the merry go round appears to be the same one Forrest Jr. played on during elementary school years from 1932 to 1940. At least it is the same type, which strong boys can make jerk back and forth as well as go around. The young lady is Gwen Ellen Ladd,
