This view looks north across the site of the house Forrest and Bonnie Ladd lived in during the early years of their marriage. The old Ladd place, and the remainder of the house, can be seen in the distance, to the north and a little west. A road, now east 75th street, runs east and west just over the hill between the two houses. This photo was taken on Memorial Day, 29 May 2006, by Forrest Jr. who was born here and lived here until about 1938.
