05-Forrest & Bonnie home area, composite

This composite of photos, one taken in May 2006 and one about 1934, show both the present view of the area of Forrest and Bonnie's first house and the only picture we have of the original house, which sat in about the same position as it is placed here. The old barn is in the left foreground. This view is looking northeast, with the neighbor's place to the east showing in the background. In the original layout, the barn was southwest of the house, and the well and cellar were south and a bit east of the house. This was the main entrance to the house, facing south and entering the kitchen. (The boy in the small photo is Forrest Ladd Jr.)
