This photo of Mamie and grandchildren was taken in the front yard of her home, facing northeast. In the upper left is the hay barn, a large cover with open sides. At the upper right is the chicken house. The wire mesh fence separated the yard and the open area around the house. At one time there was a white picket fence, probably later than the date of this snapshot.
