Lower Stilwell, a house once owned and inhabited by members of the Stilwell families of England. Whether any of these persons are directly related to the American Stillwell families descended from Nicholas Stillwell is unknown. This photo was taken in 1999. Standing in front are Gwen Ladd Hackler, left, Martin Stilwell, and the owner of the property in 1999. He graciously provided a tour of the home and shared some of the history of the house that he knew. Forrest Ladd, Gwen's father, took the snapshot.
