Susannah (Stillwell) and Jacob Haviland and sons
Susan (also spelled as Susanna, Susannah and Susana), firstborn of Daniel and Beulah Ann Stillwell, was born in Feb 1936 in New Jersey. She married Jacob Haviland about 1866. They had two sons, Joseph "Joe," born about 1968 and Homer, born in Sept 1869. We have no record that either of them married. Both Jacob and Susan have tombstones in Union Cemetery, located northwest of Cushing, Oklahoma. It seems clear that Jacob is buried there, but there is a strand of family folklore that after Jacob's death Susanna went to California and possibly is buried there. Her tombstone has no death date on it. We do not know where Joe and Homer are buried.
