02-Isaac's residence in July, 1860

Isaac's father Daniel Stilwell died 14 Nov 1852 in Greenville Township, Darke County, Ohio. In this next census Isaac is living in the town of Troy, Staunton Township, Miami County, Ohio with Daniel, age 25, and his wife Elizabeth W., age 25, both of whom were born in Ohio. We do not know the relationship of this Daniel with our ancestor and Isaac's father Daniel. It is likely that this is the Daniel Stilwell who served as administrator of Daniel's estate. Also at that residence were Mary Stilwell, age 32, Edward Deputy, age 19, and Elias Stilwell, age 24. There also were Stilwells living with the Deweese family in the adjoining residence.
