John Stilwell and family
John Daniel Stilwell, born 19 Oct 1875 in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio, was the oldest surviving son of William Henry and Phebe (Hiller) Stilwell. He married Sarah Corbin (perhaps also spelled Corbyn) in 1904. They had two daughters, May Viola, born 25 June 1907 and Nellie M., born 26 May 1911. John and Harry had a friendly running disagreement on the proper spelling of their surname, with John using the Stilwell spelling and Harry the Stillwell form. John and Sarah made their home near Cushing, Oklahoma.
