Ray Stillwell, firstborn of Harry and Lou Stillwell
Oscar Ray Stillwell was born 4 Mar 1901 in Cushing, Payne County, Oklahoma. His parents were Harry Mote and Lucinda "Lou" (Smith) Stillwell. Ray entered the Navy as a young man and served out a long career. His first, brief marriage was to Mildred McKinney. He and Eula Flossie Gordon were married 5 Dec 1931. Ray adopted Gordon, Eula's son, and they had two more sons, Donnie and Russell Jay. Ray died 16 Dec 1957. According to records available, he served in both World Wars I and II.
