The Hillside Pioneer Club. Hillside was a school near Cushing, Oklahoma. Three of our Stillwell/Smith families are in the group: Nellie (Stillwell) Vance, second from the left; Lucinda "Lou" (Smith) Stillwell, next to the right, and Pearl (Ferguson) Smith on the right. Nellie married her second husband Glen Vance in 1917; Lou married Harry Stillwell in 1900, and Pearl married Asa Smith, Lou's brother, in 1909. The photo is undated.
