Four generations of Tate/Smiths. Carolina "Collie" (Tate) Smith, her daughter Cornelia "May" Smith Dixon (right), May's daughter Grace (Dixon) Thames, and Grace's son James Thames. The inscription states that the photo was made about 1920. Collie was the daughter of Owen and Rebecca (Steele) Tate. They were married 17 May 1842. Collie was born 13 Jan 1845 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
