The order of the persons in this picture, made on 8 Feb 1896, is unknown. The exact ages written on the back probably indicate that this was considered an important photograph. They are:
Frank Smith, 27 yr 2 mo 13 da; son of Carolina "Collie" (Tate) Smith
Oscar Williams, 26 yr 2 mo 29 da; son of Mary (Tate) Williams
Anna Tate, 22 yr 1 mo 2 da; dtr. of Frank Tate

Lillie Tate, 17 yr 5 mo 14 da; dtr. of Frank Tate
Mabel Tate, 15 yr 2 mo 15 da; dtr. of Frank Tate
The four women are children of Lewis Franklin "Frank" and Clara (Blair) Tate. Frank was a son of Owen Dunn and Rebecca (Steele) Tate. This portrait was made by the E. B. Snell Studio of Wellington, Kansas.
