According to one family descendant, this is Frank and John William Tate. Their respective ages were reported as 10 and 3 years - 3 months. However, our database reflects a greater difference in their ages than this. They were sons of Owen Dunn and Rebecca (Steele) Tate. (In case the older child is misidentified, John's sister Mary Jane was born about 8 years earlier than John, and we think this may be John and Mary Jane Tate.)
