Mrs. Shepard, presumably connected with Mr. Shepard in the previous photo. The studio is not indicated, and we have no identification of Mr. and Mrs. Shepard (possibly husband and wife, but we do not know that. We hope someone can help us with identifying Mr. and Mrs. Shepard. We do know that there was a Fred and Rosa Shepard family who lived in Galena, Kansas in 1900, which is where John Tate lived. Perhaps they were friends, or even relatives through one of the wives' families.
