This 1860 census of Staunton Township, Miami County, Ohio shows Morris Stilwell, son of Joseph, living in the home of Michael B. and Martha Deweese. Elizabeth Stilwell, age 58. This almost certainly is his mother and widow of Joseph. Also living there is Maria Stilwell, age 17. We do not know her ancestry.
In the next residence lived Daniel Stilwell, age 35, with Elizabeth W. Stillwell, age 25, Isaac Stilwell, age 19, a farmhand born in Ohio. This probably is the son of Daniel and Bula Ann, who was born 29 Jan 1840.
Also in the home was Mary Stilwell, age 32, Edward Deplety (sp?), age 19, farm hand, and Elias Stilwell, age 24, a fruit tree dealer.
Living with A. L. Weatherhead four houses down the road was Elizabeth Stilwell, age 68, born in New Jersey. This may be the widow of Elias, father of Joseph, Daniel, and Elias.
