Directory: Stillwell Family Gatherings of
1987, 2004 and 2006

     Although the Stillwell family regularly got together on special occasions, especially when some family members from a distance were in Cushing, they did not hold regular family reunions as some families do. There are four gatherings of note, however.
     (1) The families of Lucinda "Lou" (Smith) Stillwell and her brother Asa Smith held a reunion in Yale, Oklahoma on 14 June 1987.
     (2) At the time of the death of Earnest W. Garrett, Beulah's husband, in October 2004 the Harry Stillwell families had the equivalent of a family reunion. After the funeral the people of both Beulah's Stillwell families and Earnie's Garrett families gathered at the dining room of the Steer Inn in Cushing, Oklahoma for a meal.
     (3) In November 2004 the families of Bill and Ethel (Stillwell) Campbell gathered in Bethany and Oklahoma City for a gathering that was a surprise to most of those who attended, prepared by Janelle and Jodie. Jodie's daughter Rachel Becker took many pictures, and shared some of them for this album. A big "thank you" to Janelle and Jodie for organizing the gathering and to Rachel for the pictures.
     (4) On Sunday, 10 Oct 2006, at the occasion of the visit of Jo and her family, along with Linda and her family, we had another family gathering in the Fiesta Room of Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon, Oklahoma, where Forrest and Jean Ladd live. There were several of the Ladd/Anderson families here as well.
