"If I go down, don't grieve for me. If I go in the next minute, I
know I'm ready to go. I've had a good time. Let me go. I tried to make
the world a better place. I'm so tired. When it's time for me to go, let
me go. Don't try to call me back. Don't worry for me. I go to a better
place."
Bonnie Ladd, March 27, 2002

Bonnie
died at 12:57 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2002. Present with her were
her son, Forrest Ladd, Jr. and a nurse from Good Shepherd Hospice.
During that time the tape recorder was playing Chandra (Nicholson) Line
singing "Find Us Faithful." Bonnie's passing was smooth and,
as far as we can tell, free of pain.
