MR. AND MRS. W. P. WARNER HAVE 50TH ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Warner of Ford assisted by their children Mrs. M. W. Snook, Wesley M. Warner of Denver and Mrs. Archie A. Lockman entertained with open house in the Methodist Church parlor March 20 in honor of their Golden Wedding anniversary. There were one hundred sixty guests registered. The following program was presented with Mrs. Elmer Karns in charge. Welcome—Leslie Ann Riegel, Piano Solo—Marilee Snook, Original Reading—Carolyn Lockman, Piano Solo—Virginia Mann, Family History—Mrs. Arnold Snook, Piano Solo—Carolyn Karns. A quartette composed of Miss Bethene Karns, Topeka, Mrs. Lenes Close and Mrs. Roy Lemmons, Bethany. Okla., Mrs. Floyd Shrauner, Elkhart, sang several numbers. These ladies composed a very popular quartette when in high school. This was the first reunion in several years. Mrs. Elmer Karns accompanied at the piano.

Miss Deanna Lockman had charge of the guest book. Mrs. Wesley M. Warner and daughter Virginia the gift table.

Mrs. Snook and Mrs. Lockman presided at the refreshment table which was centered with a Golden Bell and flower arrangement.

Others helping with refreshments were : Mrs. Elmer Dawson, Dodge City, Mrs. Arthur Powell, Mrs. Elmer Karns, Mrs. E. H. Patterson, Mrs. Ansel Hager, Mrs. Burl Stevenson and Mrs. Duane Riegel.
