Sandra Kay Cannady

 

Funeral services for Miss Sandra Kay Cannady of Glenwood Springs will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Idaho Springs High School auditorium. Burial will be in Dumont.

 

Miss Cannady died of a skull fracture when the car she was driving skidded off a county road 11 miles southeast of Kremmling in Grand County on Friday. She was thrown 300 feet from the car down an embankment after the car skidded 109 feet, traveled 125 feet through the air and bounced down the embankment another 600 feet. She was 18.

 

A graduate of Idaho Springs High School last spring, Miss Cannady had been employed at Glenwood Springs.

 

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Cannady of Dumont; four brothers, Wesley, Steve, Jimmy and Dan, and her grandfather, Joe Myers, of Dumont.

 

The Tomford Mortuary in Idaho Springs is handling arrangements.
