WILLIE PATTERSON WARNER

 

Willie Patterson Warner was born in Patriot, Indiana on August 26, 1881. He had been in failing health for the last five years and died on December 14, 1963 in a Lamed hospital, at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 18 days. He came to Kansas when a small child. His family settled in St. John, where he grew to manhood.

 

He married Lillie M. Dawson on March 15, 1905 at Ford, Kansas. He lived in Stafford and Pawnee Counties, coming to Ford in 1924. He attended Campbell College at Holton, Kansas, and is a member of the Ford Methodist Church.

 

He is survived by his widow, Lillie, and three children: Mrs. M. W. Snook and Mrs. Nellie Lockman, Ford; and Wesley M. Warner of Longmont, Colorado; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, E. J. Warner of Larned; Howard Warner of Great Bend; Emma Warner, Winslow, Arkansas; Mrs. Arthur Benett of Bennett, Colorado; and Mrs. Harry Bemis of Arcadia, California, and many other relatives and friends.
