O.C. DAWSON

 

Services for O.C. “Shorty" Dawson, 80, of 2625 W Main, are pending with Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home. He died Saturday at his home.

 

Dawson, a retired gardener, was born at Sarcoxie, Mo., and moved to Oklahoma City in 1920.

 

He is survived by his wife, Audrey; a stepson, Junior Judge, Konawa; a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Becker, Montana; a brother, F.R., Oklahoma City, and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Stone, Paris, Tex.

[The initials O.C. stand for Orin C.; F. R. was Finis Rowland Dawson, a half-brother. Shorty’s parents were Joseph and Addie (Good) Dawson.]
