MRS. MAYBELLE DAWSON

 

Mrs. Maybelle Dawson, 52, of 4603 N Wheeler, Bethany, died Sunday at Bethany Hospital after a long illness. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Church of the Nazarene, Bethany. Burial arrangements are pending with Guardian Westside Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Dawson was born in Garden Plain, Kan., and moved to Bethany in 1956. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

 

Survivors include her husband, Vernon; three daughters, Mrs. Dwight [Vernona] Purtee, 6903 NW 46; Mrs. Stan [Kerry] Funk, Bethel Park, Pa., and Janis Dawson, 6205 NW 36; six sisters, Mrs. Katie Thomas, Knoxville, Tenn.; Mrs. Lawrence Tonn, Haven, Kan.; Mrs. Stella Schoepf, Santa Anna, Calif.; Mrs. David Darrow, Lancaster, Calif.; Mrs. Marvin Selle, Lompoc, Calif.; and Mrs. Roy Sassaman, Topeka, Kan., and two brothers, Samuel Stone, North Little Rock, Ark., and Eldon Stone, Overland Park, Kan.
