Pvt. Carl Dawson Is Missing In Germany

Pvt. Carl Dawson has been missing in action in Germany since December 15, the war department informed his wife at her home in Colorado Springs Monday. The couple has a small son, Johnny.
Dawson, a native son, graduated from Ford high school and lived here until the two years prior to induction when he operated a service station in Colorado Springs.
The father, J. O. Dawson, is a farmer here, and the mother, Mrs. Metta Dawson, is in Pawpaw, Ill. An only brother, Harry Dawson, a Nazarene minister, died at LaJunta in May. The grandmother, Mrs. Allie Dawson, has six other grandsons and two grandsons-in-law in the service.
