English Yule Feast Precedes Concert
The annual Student Council sponsored "Ye Ole English Yule Feast" will be held in the cafeteria on Friday evening, December 13, preceding the culture series program.
Two inns will hang out their shingles for the old fashioned English meal. Buckingham Inn will serve dinner at 5:00 p.m. Wellington Inn will open at 7:00.
A family style meal will be served with faculty and staff members acting as the "mom and dad" of each table. The host will carve a hand-laced and stuffed turkey and will serve mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, plum pudding, banana-nut bread, and wassail punch.
"Ye Ole English Minstrels" will circulate throughout the inns with traditional Christmas songs. An old fashioned Christmas tree will blaze in the center of the cafeteria.
Tickets for either inn may be picked up beginning Monday, December 9, through Friday noon, December 13, by presenting an ID card at the Wooden Nickel.
