Notes:
Samuel Fox died of pneumonia. All 7 children were born in OH. Six children and their
mother Mary left Ohio, year of 1950 for IA by wagon train. Settled in Mahaska Cty, between
two rivers. Albert and William bought 280 acres for $16.00 and acre. Later William sold
his part to Albert and moved to Taylor Cty, IA. John and David went by covered wagon to
the area of Placerville, CA. David returned to Mahaska Cty and bought 80 acres near his
brother. He built a home for he and his mother.
