Notes for Henry Woodward

The Genealogy of Herbert Cornelius Graves, 1963. Henry was a member of
Dorchester church in 1639 and removed to Northampton in 1659. He came from
Much Worton, Lancashire, England and was killed by lightning at the upper
corn mill. He was licensed to keep ordinary and sell wines and liquors, from
1665-81, during this time he regularly entertained the court which sat each
year in Northampton and was considered one of the pillars of the church. came
16 Aug, 1635 on the ship "James" to Dorchester, MA.
