Delivered Mrs Davidson Widow of J. Davidson Dec.d,
5 March 1815
This Indenture made this twenty forth day of July in
this year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & thirteen between
Henry Hoppifs? & Barbery his Wife of the County &
State of
of the one part & Joseph Davidson of said County & sd State of the other
part. Witnesseth that for & in consideration of the sum of sic hundred
Dollars in hand paid by the sd Joseph Davidson, the said Henry
Hoppifs & Barbery his wife hath bargained & sold & doth by these pres-
ants grant bargain sell & confirm to the said Joseph Davidson & his
heirs a certain parcel of Land contacting one hundred & twenty five
Acres & three forths acres however all the land contained within the
following lines be the same more or less – lying & being in the

Tract of Land formerly this property of Lewis Abel Deceased & bounded
as followeth viz. Beginning at a white Oak at the part of the pine
ridge & runneth then north three & a half degrees west nineteen poles...

Beginning together with all & singular the privileges and appur-
taneces thereunto belonging or in any ways appertaining to the only
proper use & beliefs of him the ? Joseph Davidson & his heirs forever
& the said Henry Hoppifs & Barbery his wife the said parcel of Land
& appurtenances to the said Joseph Davidson & his heirs against
him & his heirs & from all & every other person or persons whatsoever
shall & will warrant & forever deferred In testimony whereof the sd
Henry Hoppifs & Barbery his wife hath hereunto set there hand &
seals the day & date above written.

This Indenture of Bargain and sale from Henry Hoppefs and Barbara
his wife to Joseph Davidson was acknowledge in Court by the said
Hoppefs & wife as their acts and deeds she having been first privacy ex-
amined as the Law directs relinquished her Right of Dower therein and
