William Thomas (William Thomas Jacobs) HOWELL Elizabeth Stephenson Date: 16 Jul 2000 4:30 PM I can't say that I know where to start. I just found out that my great great grandfather adopted his son (my g-grandfather) and I have been researching the wrong person. *sigh* My new search is for A. Wade Jacobs. He was apparantly a wealthy older man who married my gg grandmother, Allie Mae Putman. Allie didn't like her older husband and decided to leave him when she found that she was pregnant. She went home to her mother and never went back to A. Wade Jacobs. She later married David Howell and her child, William Thomas was raised as a Howell. He never even knew that he was adopted Contact: Mary Bonsal Virginia Hicks
