The grave marker of Peter C. Gindlesperger in the cemetery of Berkey Church of the Brethren, Paint Township, off Rt. 160 south of Windber, PA. As recognized by the star medallion on the flag standard, Peter served as a Private in the Civil War, having enlisted Company H, 54th Regiment, Penna. Volunteers. (The three markers immediately behind the marker are for Elizabeth, Peter P., and John, respectively, children of Peter C. and Rachel.)
