Richie Gindlesperger brought his wife, Jill, and their children, Emily and Eric, all the way from Catlettsburg, KY for the First Annual Gindlesperger Family Reunion, which was held in Somerset County, PA in August 1999. The family is wearing the "Ich bin ein Gindlesperger" ("I am a Gindlesperger") shirts they got at the reunion. Richie is the son of Richard Carl Gindlesperger and Joyce Ann Whitaker, and the grandson of Slater Carl Gindlesperger and Velma Salome Edith Kaltenbaugh. Richie is the seventh great-grandson of Ulrich Gindlesperger.
