Henry Gore Jr. was born after the death of his father in 1791. The source of this information comes from Gore, Goare, Goar and Kindred by Joseph Elmer Goar:

Five children were born by her; Joseph, Robert, James, born Dec. 25, 1787, Nancy born 1789 and Henry born in 1791 after the death of his father (page 23).

Henry Gore was born on his father's farm adjoining the town of New Market, Shenandoah Co., Va., in 1791, shortly afther the death of his father which occurred about April 1st., 1791 (page 23c).

The author does not give a reason for making the statement that he did. In the 1850 and 1860 Raleigh County, Virginia censuses, Henry Jr. listed his age as 60 and 70, respectively, indicating that his birth occurred 1789/1790. On his tombstone his birth is listed as 1789.
