2. John Vanderpool¹ was born in 1794 in Ashe County, North Carolina. He died between 1837 and 1840 in Pulaski County, Missouri.

John Vanderpool and Susannah Rees were married about 1813 in Ashe County, North Carolina. Susannah Rees¹ (daughter of Valentine Reece and Christine Harmon) was born about 1795 in North Carolina. She died in Jul 1849 in , Pulaski, Mo. John Vanderpool and Susannah Rees had the following children:
