Bessie Brown, Francena's granddaughter, said that Francena was a big woman, not fat, and that she took care of the kids. She died at her son's, Porter Cogar's house and was buried at Mt. Nebo, Braxton Co. at Gibson Cemetery.
Francena's sister, Rosanna, married Elijah Squires Gibson and he was the father of Francena's children. My mother-in-law said that Rosanna lived on one side of the hill with her children and Francena lived on the other side with her children.
