| Obituary: "Edna Faye Nelson, 47, of Brave Star Route, died Thursday, April 24, 1986, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. She was born December 25, 1938, in Wayne Township, a daughter of the late Phillip Rex and Brooksie Etha Moniger Kerr. She lived all of her life in the Brave area. She had worked several years at the Greenway Manufacturing Co. in Waynesburg and was a member of Local 575 of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America. She was Protestant. She is survived by her husband, Walter R. (Bob) Nelson; two sons, Walter Rex Nelson of Waynesburg and David Allan Nelson at home; a daughter, Robin Lynn Nelson at home; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Annabelle) Weaver of Washington, Mrs. Thomas (Betty Jean) King of Waynesburg, Mrs. John (Irma) Strope of Myersdale and Mrs. Edward (Marlene) Phillips of Spraggs; three brothers, Samuel R. (Junior) Kerr of Delmont, Kenneth R. (Jim) Kerr of Brave and George E. (Ed) Kerr of Baden; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Margaret Rebecca Bateson and Maude Elizabeth Weaver; and two brothers, Eli F. Kerr and Raymond M. Kerr."118 | ||||||||||
