Added several new photos in the Grim-Grimm Family Photos section. These include John WIlliam Grimm and wife Mamie King; James Jackson Grimm and a photo of his grave; his wife, Arminnie Davis; their son Russell Boyd Grimm; Russell's wife, Opal Ardith Putnam; and Russell's and Opal's grave.
Also added two grave photos in the Fayette County Cemeteries section, that of my 5th great grandfather William Jefferies and his second wife, Martha Mendenhall.
Update on Christian Grim
Upon doing some research today, I discovered the slight possibility that Christian Grim could indeed be an uncle of the famous Brothers Grimm. It is not proof, however. Still looking for that. Click on the Christian Grim link above and go to the ***Note about halfway down to see the new information.

More family photos later.
A Long Needed Update
Well, the site finally has the family files updated after more than a year. I haven't had much time for genealogy, as I spent the last few years writing a book about my hometown, Fowlerville, Michigan.
I've lost track over the years about what has been updated, but I know that a lot has been added to the descendants of Andrew Jackson Grim and his wife, Nancy Good. As I've had time I've added census records, vital records from West Virginia, and have started to go through the Pennsylvania Marriage Records that are newly available on FamilySearch.org.
Enjoy! Hopefully in the next week or so I'll get the photo pages updated. I know I have several to add.
Update to Site
Updated the family files today. Many new census records led to new names, along with birth/death/marriage records if they were from West Virginia.
Another Update
Once again I've updated the genealogy files. More on Earseman Grim and his family, as well as corrections/additions on Nizzie Grim and her family. Probably the biggest additions are to my Acklin line. There is much more here, both on descendants in the Acklin line, as well as the ancestry of Martha Jane Simpson (wife of Joseph Kelley) on her mother's side.
Genealogy Files Updated
I've uploaded a fresh update of the genealogy files portion of the site. Not a lot of changes, but there is more on the descendants of Morgan R. Grimm, a son of John B. Grim & Jane Grandon.
Photos of Earseman Grimm & Mary Lucretia Grimm
Added photos of siblings Earseman and Mary Lucretia Grimm; they were children of Morgan R. Grimm & Elizabeth Galloway.
Photo Updates & Additions, plus Family Updates
Updated photos of the towboat Monongahela being raised after sinking; better quality photos.
Added photos of Ohio Civil War Veteran medal of Armstrong Grim, and photo of Thomas Grim, Jr.; courtesy of Fred Schultz.
Updated family files. Updates include the family of Elizabeth "Nizzie" Grim, daughter of Morgan Grim and Elizabeth Galloway. Many descendants of Commodore Perry Burch, a grandson of Thomas Grim & Rachel McCullough, have been added. My files now include 200+ descendants of this family.
Updates, Dec. 28, 2007
Added a new Photo Album with photos of the Acklin Family, my grandmother's line.
Added more Towboat Photos, along with corrections.
Look for updated family files in the next week or so, with additions to the Acklins and the line of Harvey D. Grimm.
New Photos and Photo Album
Photos of Harvey D. Grimm (son of John B. Grim), his second wife, Nancy Philips, and their son, William Morgan Grim, have been posted in the Grim-Grimm Photo Album.
Also, a new Towboats Photo Album has been added, showing the various boats my great-grandfather, his sons and grandsons have owned, as well as some of the boats my dad worked on.
Update, October 28, 2007
Added a West Virginia Cemeteries Photo Album with 70+ photos from several different cemeteries in Tyler County, WV. Also moved the photo of Levi & Barbara Grim's graves from Miscellaneous to Mount Pleasant/Long's Cemetery in the West Virginia Cemeteries Photo Album.
Latest Updates
The latest updates to the site include: Luther Scott Grim's line. Luther was the son of Thomas & Rose Ann Grim, and the grandson of Adam Grim & Hannah Syphers. There have also been three photos added to the Cemetery—Miscellaneous page. Thanks to Ed Campbell for sending, and reminding me, of this information.
Tombstone Photos Added
Added 3 tombstone photos in the Miscellaneous Cemetery section: those of Isaac Newton Grim, Luther Scott Grim and wife, and John & Lilly Belle (Grim) Riggs. Photos courtesy of Ed Campbell.
Photo Pages Converted
The Photo Album pages have finally been converted to the new layout. Coming soon (I hope): more cemetery pages, this time from West Virginia.
Genealogy Pages
I believe the last time these pages were updated were in 2001. That's a long time, and a lot of new information has been added. In addition to what other researchers have sent, there are more census records listed, which in some cases leads to more people being added. In addition, the state of West Virginia has been publishing vital records online, and many, many death records are now included.
