Title to this land
passed from Crow to Newcom to the Flemings who took possession
in 1881. The Flemings lived here for many years. In 1903 Carl
Fredrik Clauson purchased 120 acres in section 21 which adjoins
this farm. That land passed to his oldest son Alfred. Alfred had
a daughter Myrtle who married Clarence Waldemar in 1928. The Waldemars
consolidated the Fleming farm and the Clauson farm. Their youngest
son Larry operated this farm for many years. His son Bradley is
the current occupant and operator. This view looks to the northwest
and was probably captured in the 1980's.
