Martin Otto Frisk was born 3 March 1886 in the parish of Lit
in Jämtland län in Sweden. He was the 3rd of 6 children
of Lars Mårtensson Frisk and Margreta Larsdotter. Martin
was known by the name Otto. He married Margreta Kristina Jönsson
on 24 June 1914 in Föllinge parish, Jämtland Sweden.
They had a daughter Margaret in 1915. In 1916 the family of 3
emigranted to Kiron, Iowa where they had relatives. They farmed
for a while and then moved to the Denver, Colorado area. He died
in Colorado in 1963. |
